Giving Life
In the last few months I have heard several comments from people about how much this church and the people here mean to them and to their lives… especially since the Small Groups began. This is an expression of life. Call it a testimonial if you will, because it certainly testifies that each person in this church is important and occupies an important place in the hearts of others.
We often think we are “non-essential” personnel. But, if you listen to others and the effect you have on their lives, you would think differently. There is not one single member in this congregation who is unimportant.
If you could think of yourself as a cell in the body, you might ask yourself, which ones could we live without? Our bodies were created to work together with ever single minute part. God knew what He was doing when He designed us and put us together.
In the church, the body of Christ, we are the same. Everyone is important to the overall working of the body. No one is exempt.
Whether you know it or not, you are leaving a hand print on people, both here and around the world. Each one of us needs to re-evaluate our position in the body and work responsibly doing what God has designed us to do. Whether you ever see the hand print or not, it is there. Keep up the good work.
